Soaring Eagles opened in 2003 with 250 students. We are happy to report that we now serve over 750 students. Since opening, we have earned multiple awards including:

Before and After School Clubs and Activities

97% of students reported that their principal and assistant principals are visible in the classroom.
95% of families reported that there is a teacher, counselor, or other staff member at school whom their child can go to for help with a problem.

Next Steps
- Moving forward, a student-created, school-wide survey for grades 3–8 will target factors that contribute to students feeling accepted and respected at school, while also collecting data on the frequency of SEL instruction in classrooms.
- We will work with staff to create a plan that promotes more positive communication with families regarding student behaviors.
- Our school will participate in additional BIST staff trainings to better define and address threatening and bullying behaviors inside and outside the classroom, establish clear reporting contacts for students, and ensure consistent follow-up on all student reports.
